All I can say WOW I love it!!! As for SIL just listen as if your instested in her input (just to keep pease) and then do it the way YOU want. I think your way is much better!

It's beautiful! Great job on the hand quilting. I have a sister that thinks she knows everything too. I tell people she has the "l am better than thou" attitude about everything only her way it the correct way. I am sorry if she hurt your feelings... at least she's only your SIL and not your sister. By the way - I my personal feelings about tied quilts are that they have been done by beginners.
