I made a very pink "Princess" quilt for a friend's 50th birthday. Along with crowns, princesses, shoes, and other girlie things were some age-appropriate sayings, such as "Young at heart, slightly older in other places." This was professionally quilted with butterflies and curls. My friend knows she is a princess diva, and she loved the quilt.
As I am new to posting pictures, I couldn't get the picture rotated--please don't strain your neck!)

Sorry its sideways

It's absolutely wonderful!!!

You can rotate your pictures under edit, before you post them. At the bottom of the screen, there should be little triangles with arrows in a half circle, click on that until your picture it up right!

very very cute, and FYI, you have to do all your editing (rotating) in your photo software before you post.

What a fabulous birthday gift and what a great friend you are! How did you manage the words? Did you find fabric with the words on it already? I want to make a snuggly quilt for a friend who has breast cancer and will be going through both chemo and radiation, and wanted to put scriptures on some of the white blocks. Been trying to figure out what to use that won't wash out (like sharpies do).
