    Just finished a UFO and want to make it a bit bigger so it fits on a full sized bed. Have enough of the blue and yellow floral print for borders and binding but it looks kind of busy to go with all the scrappy 9 patch blocks. Do you think of medium blue solid or reads like a solid would look better?

    Photo isn't too good, didn't have anyone around to hold it up for me while I took the photo, but you get the idea. May in Jersey

    I would use that as the outer border with a skinny yellow inner border. It looks great!

    Same here. As long as it has a bit of a break between the floral and the top, it looks great.

    I love the blue flowers with the rest. but as someone above said try it with a skinny yellow between the blocks and the flower border

    Another option is to use one of the darker blues from the blocks to make a 2 inch inner border.
