I'm an avid coffee drinker, and very happy to hear that it can possibly prevent alzheimers!! I also love totes and have way more than one ever needs. But when I saw this fabric I knew it needed to be made into a tote to add to my collection. Can't wait to take it to work on Monday. The fabric is Moda "Java".

what tote pattern did you use? I have making one on my list (way way at the bottom b/c it looks hard) you chose cool fabric |
The pattern is from "Quilts Illustrated", designed by Penny Sturges, "ps009 Weekender Tote". It was very easy.

My husband calls me the "bag" lady. Wonder if that is because I have about 30 in the closet and change out every couple of days to a different one? Looks like I may have to add one more to the group and tell him they are "totes" not bags! :) Good job and love the fabric. I too love my coffee.

Actually it's bigger than the bow tucks, about 4" wider and 3" taller. Perfect size to carry to work with extra shoes, my lunch, notebooks and paperwork, etc.

I've been collecting coffee F/quarters for a couple of years

It's wonderful. Now I know what to do with my COFFEE fat quarters I won at Guild. Thanks so much for the idea.
