I like the thinner mauve inner strip..then the green!! I love it..I love "Gone With the Wind" have read and re-read it a dozen times..own a 1st copy of it..where did u get the fabric ? I couldn't tell u how many times I've seen the movie..lol..!!

I like brown because it is used in the quilt top and ties everything together but I also like the green... I'd go with the brown unless you have another project that the brown would be better for... |

I think the first border piece would look nice as the binding with the green next to the pink as the border for what it is worth.

I like the darker green much better because it doesn't show as much design elements so it doesn't compete with the design in the quilt itself.
Also it brings out the Gone with the Wind squares with the couple in it. |
One thing strikes me about the "old south' and that it was way over the top. I think the print border is fine!

I love the quilt...I also vote for the green. It seems to just "fit" the best. But it's your quilt and anyway you chose to finish it will be lovely.

I personally would use a black on black if that is the dark color in the flower print. and I would put a small strip of the pink in one or three spots in the black border. not too far apart.maybe two in the bottom not too far apart and not evenly spaced and one around th right side of the border.dIt is a realy nice quilt and it need a zinger. (just my opinion):)

It was just "ok" to me until I saw the green. The green is perfect IMHO.
