i love the green it really makes the quilt pop but its a matter of opinion its your quilt if you like the other better then use it !!! to me thats what quilting is all about doing your own thing i seldom make a pattern in the fabrics shown although i do tend to stick to a pattern i use what grabs me which is lots of purple ))))

The way that fabric is also used in the main body of the quilt makes it so your eye travels across the quilt and into the border. I think it works, even if it is busy. I would suggest something that reads solid for the binding to keep all of the movement contained within the quilt and border.

Depends on whether you want the quilt to "read" pink or green. Green border, the whole quilt "reads" green, the other border, it "reads" pink. Personally, I like the pink look better, but either one is fine.

Beautiful fabric and design, but the floral border may be just a bit too much. I think the green is a much better choice, gives these tired old eyes a resting place.
Love the floral print, how about making a scarf for the dresser or night table (perfect spot to lay your copy of Gone with the Wind).

I think the first border is a little bit over the top--and that makes it PERFECT for the theme. Grandiose! It's so very GWW! Go for it!
