Boy, you must have the patience of a "saint". That is one awesome quilt, sooooooooooooo many pieces !!!

sewbizgirl 04-22-2014 05:21 AM

Awesome! So many little seams to match up!

wolph33 04-22-2014 05:35 AM

It's beautiful! My favorite kind of quilt

meyert 04-22-2014 07:37 AM

I really like your quilt. I have been thinking about doing a scrappy from 2" blocks too... I am just scared that I would be biting off more than I could handle. Your's turned out great.

Prim Quilts 04-22-2014 07:51 AM

I love it!

2manyhobbies 04-22-2014 08:32 AM

Whoa. Talk about patience. Nice job.

MargeD 04-22-2014 10:53 AM

WOW, I can't believe you counted all those squares, I would have given up half way through at least. Beautiful quilt.

joyce888 04-22-2014 12:40 PM

Very very nice!

IBQUILTIN 04-22-2014 01:05 PM

I am so in awe of the folks on these blogs. The work you do is absolutely wonderful. I can only quilt after I get home from a second job late in the night and sometimes I grumble and complain about it. Then I think of the great work these quilters do and remember I will only get there with practice.....so I smile and continue on. Thanks for the inspiration. (But I don't think I will ever take on a thousand 2" squares!!!!)

Fantastic quilt! Love the white inner border!

matraina 04-22-2014 03:26 PM

OMG, very pretty but how long did it take to cut all those squares!!!

debbieoh 04-22-2014 04:40 PM

My goodness you have a lot of patience. so cool always wanted to make one but ......

hudgoddess 04-22-2014 05:25 PM

I've been wanting to do one of those! Yours is beautiful! Was it worth it? Did your scrap pile decrease at all?

EmiliasNana 04-23-2014 06:28 AM

I have been cutting my small scraps into 2 1/2" or 5" squares, so someday may be able to actually make one of these LOL Yours is beautiful and gives me hope. Sure is a tedious task, but I know if I don't get them organized into workable scraps, I will never do anything with them.

I've been thinking I should do that. It's beautiful. Quite an inspiration.

maggie_1936 04-23-2014 10:31 AM

so pretty! I may have to use up some of my scraps to do something similar

Jeanne S 04-23-2014 06:56 PM

Really lovely. I like the idea of working on 2 quilts at once--using leaders and Enders for the second--but just have never cut the squares to have on hand. Great job!!!

#1piecemaker 04-23-2014 07:25 PM

Nicely done!! I think I need to put borders on all of my DH's scrappy block quilts. Your's really makes the quilt pop!
