10 Min. Poinsettia table runner
1 Attachment(s)
I finally tried the 10 Minute table runner pattern. LOVE how easy this is to create. While I can't say it only took me 10 mins. to create, it was a quick, easy project. I chose to highlight the center portion with glitzy gold metallic rick rack and the ends of the runner are accented with gold metallic tassles secured by a rhinestone studded button. I added a piece of batting to the center portion, then I stitched around all the Christmas ornaments. While I do like how this one turned out, the next one I most likely won't add the batting, so it will lie more flat. I hope you enjoy my Christmas table runner!

I, too, made one of these runners with batting. I wasn't sure I liked mine until I saw one on display at our LQS without any batting so now I'm not sure I like the flatness of that one. I may figure out how to do one without all that batting in the triangles next. Yours is beaut.

Lovely table runner! I'm always open to more patterns for these, as they are so quick to make..
I tried using flannel for the batting and really like it... maybe even use 2 layers of flannel sometimes! |
Very pretty.

It is very pretty and elegant looking, while not complicated. Those are the things I like to make. If I only had the time.

Very nice and I found the same thing with runners and toppers......... but in some I use fleece it's not as bulky as reg quilt batting.
