My sister whipped this quilt up in about 2 days. I helped her by cutting the squares, pinning and having the binding ready to sew on.
Someone was retiring and she was asked her if she could make a quilt as a retirement gift.
It has 20 blocks and each of the 20 employees will sign on the white cathederal square.
She used the flange binding.

If you already have the squares cut out it takes less than 10 minutes usually. We timed it a couple of times and they were both under 10 minutes but if you have to do any ripping........

That was the binding, flanged (2 toned) made it look like a ribbon.

This would be a great idea...you could use the pilot pen that irons off...that way all the names are on it for the gift...but then the names can be ironed off in a few weeks.

I wish we had done that. I didn't realize there was such a pen.
