1 Attachment(s)
You made already have heard of this but it was new to me.
And a whole lot of fun to make! There are only 3 seams. I found it on Youtube- Jean Truelove. It's not her original design but she changed it up a bit. Truelovequilts for you is her channel. |
very interesting! This is another things I will soon be looking into. Very interesting indeed. Do you have the link?

I forgot about that block, it was quite the rage maybe 10 years ago? Time flies and so many patterns to try... thanks for the link.
|
I have made this block a number of times nice to see her variation of it.

Oh, that was a while ago indeed. I remember my first ten-minute block . . . only took me an hour. Stay with it though, I managed eventually to get it done in ten minutes. I always remember that experience, however, it keeps ya humble.

Several pattern spin offs of her method. Mexican Star wallhanging and Dragonfly pattern are a couple.

I love this little block.
I made it out of 2 1/2" blocks of all kiddie brights. I hand sewed it while at work that day. the next put it together, and finally, hand quilted it. it took longer about a week to finish it. it came out great. it's finished size was 45 x 60. you can do so much with this block. made beautifu; coasters to potholders with it. ~~~~~Lynnie |
I have heard of it but never have seen it. Thank you so much for the link. I have watched some of her tutorials and enjoyed them

I've done that block on charity quilts...never made one for myself though.
