10 minute blocks really does only take 10-15 minutes once you get the hang of it. Each block has 5 of same size square. I used lights for center and machine embroidered red butterflies in some of the blocks before sewing blocks together. Used darks and med. for other four squares in block. I was shocked when circles turned out when I laid them out. Did not plan that. Got the tutorial on here somewhere for the 10 minutes blocks. REALLY fast and easy...and I'm not face and nothing is easy!

The pattern is on YouTube, Suzanne Mc Neill is the designer. It is a fun pattern to do. Only thing is watch the last or 3rd seam. The middle trys to pop back up unless you pin it down good. This one is very pretty!! I am sure your SIL will treasure it!! Good Job!! crafty_linda_b

Love your quilt and am sure your SIL will treasure it. I have decided the 10 minute block is my favorite. I used 10 inch squares to make the blocks for a work in progress. It is fun to do and can be made with any size squares (5 all the same size). Tell us about your border, it compliments the top blocks so well.
