OOPS - actually I cut two 9" squares from 12 fat quarters to start out - not 10" layer cake - then I had enough fabric from the fat quarters to do the piano key border.

I really like what you did with this pattern! I think I need to give this one a try. It looks fairly easy, although I keep reading that it is NOT a 10 minute block! lol BUT, as you pointed out, the blocks are very large, so it would most likely make a very quick quilt top. Nice job!

this is totally cool!!!! i really like the chunky blocks but the yellow curvy stars are an eye catcher and the border is fantastic. i love this!!
