Dollyo ~ Your post of the comfort wraps have obviously inspired so many here on the board and in particular this thread to make these wraps for those in need. You and your family effort are indeed examples of what "Giving from the Heart" is all about.

Thank-you again for your clear and straight forward instructions and adjustments. Many, many are going to be blessed because of your post.

This is a great idea! I might have to borrow it!

Beautiful work! Only thing that could improve them would be pockets for cold hands and tissues. I work with the elderly and I'm sure they would love these! Thank you for your time and materials!

Thank you for posting the link. I know several people who could benefit from one of these wraps.
I have lots of scraps to use for this project.

Wonderful - everything, but what is meant when the instructions call for "snuggles chocolate backing" and yes, pockets and a loop button would be great too - thanks

I had to Google it to find out what "Snuggles" was. It is a backing like minkee, but w/o the dots. It is made by Moda. The pattern is from the Moda Bakeshop. We used fabric that we would not use otherwise. The poly batting was from my earliest days of frame quilting. I now only use Soft & Bright.

This is a great idea. Still time to get some done for Christmas.

I think these are awesome.... when you wrap up in blanket or quilt sometimes they get too bunchy around the neck... the cut out is a great idea. I am flashing back to my days watching my son play football.. one of these would have been wonderful to have

My DH is undergoing chemo and he gets so cold. He has to layer blankets and gets tangled up in them. A wrap like this would keep him warm without tangling and still allow for the IVs and such. I am going to try to make one for him. Thanks for the idea. They are very nice and you are so good to make them for charity.
