1930's Scrappy String Star Quilt
 

My mom was born in 1930 and she wants a new quilt to put over her bed. The amish quilt that I bought her she says is too dark and she wants something lighter. So this is what she is getting for Christmas. Finished it up during a boring Denver Bronco game.

I have about 100 whole, real feed sacks, that one day I will cut into. This will be perfect to use them in.
Thank you so much for sharing, I remember Dad getting feed in the flowered sacks and wearing clothes made from them.
