Thanks - I agree about the old ones & I've been fortunate to be able to buy several over the years. I have one in great shape from the late 1890's - a couple from the 30's

I will try to get some pics of them taken.

Thank you - I think the "quilting love" must have skipped a generation. My mother never quilted & I don't recall ever seeing this GM quilt when I was older - perhaps once she was away from her mom she either didn't have the desire for it.

I didn't pick it up till I was in my 50's when I took a quilting class in the sm. town I lived in. Was hooked right away.

I think in this digital world w/better ways to preserve images, etc. it should be easier to pass the info down. That's why I got my camera out today & trying to catalog all the ones I at least still have.
