WOW love this quilt. Not sure about any border.

Just gorgeous! I would just put a narrow solid border also.

Gorgeous. Love the layout and border

I admire your tenacity to finish that quilt, good for you. Personally I think the first border, as the other 2 detract from all those wonderful pinwheels.

Spectacular quilt (what a neat idea) I prefer the solid border but if you wanted flowers in there perhaps you could make a strata border of solid, flower, solid but the flower one would be smallish.

I prefer no border. Maybe if the borders weren't so wide it would look ok. The pinwheels are gorgeous!

What a wonderful design! Inspired! I find the larger flower border appealing, but maybe a solid border, not too wide, would be good; whatever you do, it will be stunning.

What a beautiful quilt. This is something I would love to try, but no patience

Love that! I wouldn't use a border at all.

The quilt is just stunning!!!!

this was my thinking as well. I love this pattern and applaud you for redoing your " beginner days" blocks. Oh, my, I can't fathom what mine were like! Lol

My favorite block is the pinwheel so I love this pattern! l think a narrow, pale or purplish grey border would set off the cream background, draw out the darker tones, and yet not compete with the action like the beautiful florals do. I do think a binding in the large florals would look great to bring all those colors together ,and if you have enough of it, it'd be a stunning backing or, if not, a wide (like 10inch) single piece down one side of a cream back.
