I made it for my sister and she didn't seem overly thrilled with it. Or maybe I was just too excited and expected too much. But regardless I'm just happy that I DID IT!!!! I'm the one that the sewing machine would run out of the room when I walked in. |
You did a great job. You should be proud. Your sister may not be the type that appreciates hand made things. In the years ahead she will treasure it more because you made it for her. And once someone snuggles under a quilt, they will reach for it time and again.

Beautiful quilt! I'm sew sorry that your DS didn't appreciate all the work and love that you put in this for her! There's plenty on this board that would love to have this! You did an awesome job for your first quilt! Keep on quilting!!!

Good job!! First quilts are always special to us...I still have mine, and no one's getting it until I die!! :lol: :lol: I think you did great, and the pink is so soothing.
