2 daughters, 2 quilts to make in 2 months!
2 Attachment(s)
I decided around the first part of November that I would make a quilt for each daughter for Christmas. I didn't know if I could get them done in time but I did! They loved them so the numb fingers were worth it! I do the bindings by hand and the quilts are big, one is 72 x 72 and the other one is 90 x 110. I love the pattern so much and had enough fabric left from theirs that I'm now making one for myself, just had to buy more fabric for my backing. I figure that's a pretty good deal! The pattern is easy, it's called Labyrinth by Calico Carriage Quilt Designs.

Those really are nice! Fantastic to get them done so quickly.

Sorry, I just realized that I posted this on the Main board instead of in Pictures. Oops! LOL
|
I fell in love with this pattern when I saw it in one of the Quilting catalogs, but didn't order it as I DON'T need another project right now. May have to change my mind.
|
I bought that pattern and have yet to make it. Saw one on the Board recently, done in bright teal, peacock colors - really pretty also. congrats on meeting your deadline! They look great!

You really kept busy. I am sure you didn't spend quite as much time as I do with friend ripper as I do. You did a wonderful job. The quilts are beautiful.

Are your fabrics from the Stonehenge collection? I have the pattern and several of the Stonehenge fabrics and it's on my list to start within the next few weeks. Yours are very pretty and now they have inspired me again.
|

Beautiful quilts! Isn't that pattern fun! My mom and I just made one for my aunt (lap quilt), I know how long it took us to tag team the binding on that one, I can't imagine hand binding both of those.
