Flannel on the inside is a great idea. Flannel bed sheets are usually pretty cheap in January/February - so I might look for some to use for insides. I've thought of making one of bedspread weight (very light) for summer use; maybe pretty florals. . .

I had some flannel sheets I just adored and when I got a bigger bed, I saved them and they were my daughter's favorite sheets. Now I'm spoiled because if my sheets aren't soft and comfy, I don't use them. :lol:
