great job on both!

These are beautiful. Two questions:
1. What is the pattern? 2. What do you use as batting? I have been wanting to make a table runner for my table but being a newbie, I really don't know where to start. Thanks, |
Wonderful table runners. I especially like the french blue and yellow one. Do you mind if I ask what line of fabric you used for it?. It looks so familiar but I cannot remember where I saw it
I want to make my sister a lap quilt for the back bed board in her bedroom and those colors are perfect. Can you send me a PM please. Thankyou, Brenda |
BEAUTIFUL....tablerunners...your Mom is sew Blessed !!!!!

The first one is a pattern I got from Calico Cottage. I can't remember the name of it, we're having all of our floor refinished on Monday and my craft/sewing room is all packed up in the garage. When I get to it in a week or so, I'll let you know what the pattern name is.
The second one isn't a pattern, just did the pinwheels, but I did use a Moda Charm pack for the fabrics, Garden something (I think). Sorry for the vague answers, but we've been packing the house, moving stuff and painting for 3 days...all I know for sure is I have wine! Thanks! |
Sorry, forgot to answer the batting question. The blue & yellow one has flannel in it and the second one has batting. I love the flannel, it doesn't really add "bulk" to it, but it does give it some density, which is probably a good thing for a table runner, so it doesn't blow off the table if it's windy out. I did the pinwheel one first and didn't have any flannel, that's why it has batting.

You did a great job on both of them.
|
your mom will love them..like the blue one best..my colors..
|
Very pretty!
|
Both are great!
|
Just lovely--blue and yellow a favorite combo of mine, but really like the simplicity of the the cream pinwheels. Lucky mom!
