My nurse practicioner seemed down so I decided to make her a little flower girl wall hanging.
My guild gave me a pack of pink charms. I don't like pink, so I decided to use it right away for a heart quilt, before I decided to toss them. I have it ready for quilting now. |
They are both cute. Love the Dresden doll the best. Thank you for sharing.

Nice job. They are both cute. I love the floral print you used to border off the hearts. Very pretty.

They are both so sweet. Never throw any pink fabric away. Pass it onto another quilter who will enjoy the fabrics. I am currently pulling pink fabric for my next charity quilt !!

Darling flower girl wall hanging quilt. So nice of you to do something to cheer her up! Also like your heart quilt. I chuckled when I read how you hurried to use up the fabric! Thanks for the chuckle!!

Is there a pattern for the flower girl? I love your quilt and the embroidery work you added. thank you
|
theyare both great!!!
|
thank you all for your comments. I love that flower girl pattern. 2 years ago, I made a twin quilt that way for my DGD, and won a blue ribbon with it. I saw a similar pattern somewhere but modified it for my interests and to include a variety of embroidery. This one and another were mislaid and replaced, so I came across them and had to make a little wall hanging. The skirt is a modified Dresden section, narrower at the top than a true Dresden. Now I am working on another quilt to use up the pink. This will be a different heart pattern, hearts forming flower petals around a center circle for each block.
