I'm envious! Wish I could do such great work like that! Keep it up.

I don't understand aboutpainting batting, then sandwiching it...do you " slash" the surface fabric, allowing the batting to peak out?( I thought those were skinny fabric strips).

I thoroughly enjoy studying your (always) fabulous designs and admire every aspect of your creativity :)

Curious if you've ever been involved with the Visual Arts Center in Richmond? I've just recently discovered the Center and plan to participate in a multi-week sewing class starting next month. Your artistic style reminds me of some of the classes available there :)

Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

I’ve done some slashed fabric pieces, but these are not. The painted batting is treated as regular fabric and either layered on top (the blue long triangular piece on the one with white background) or put underneath part of the fabric, but sticking out (the yellow that is under the green fabric on the piece with the white background).

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

I like your art pieces very much. There are so many innovative techniques and I wonder how you discovered them and learned to apply them in your work. I think the unique artistry is very enhanced by your beautiful quilting designs. I am glad they are no longer UFOs because they deserve an audience.
