I just opened my box - I got some beautiful batik fat quarters, some candy, a jelly roll quilt pattern book, a pin cushion and spot remover in a gorgeous stocking plus a simply refreshing scented candle - it smells so good! All the way from Colorado - from Ducky!!! Thanks soooo much Ducky!!

I was on line for a little while yesterday but was sneezing so much I could not type anything. Had an allergy attack so went to bed early.

Was trying to read the posts in the chat and with all of the excitement forgot that I too had to open pkg from my SS. I am at work right now so will open when I get home this afternoon.

Sharonb, I am happy that you liked the gifts. Wanted to put more but could not get them to fit in the box. I am enjoying the pictures of everyone's presents.

I missed the group opening yesturday but opened up later after i arrived home...thank you so very much for the wonderful gifts!, there was a fq bundle of coordinates in the new turquoise and browns that every one is swooning over; a little dish (awesome dish) filled with chocolate ornaments, different flavored hot cocoa packets (yummy!!!) a star candy dish and a beautiful candle!!!!All from Helen in Ontario, Canada...
thank you it was so much fun to be part of this exchange, and i wish everyone lots of 'stress-free' fun activity over the next couple weeks.

sorry about the name thing, i really was trying to keep it a secret :mrgreen: wasn't going to even put a return label on it but the post office insisted...

Well since you couldn't find it........... IT WAS ME!!!!!!! I highlighted my name in the cookbook, in the back there is a list of names with the pg number of the recipe that they contributed.

I am just beginning to be a quilter and look forwrd to more time in the sewing room.

Your choice of material was great. It will match some in my stash.

The ornament and pillow are on the mantle to brighten the room.

What I love about the fabric is that it's Basic Grey! That's one of my favorite scrapbook companies! So not only do I get to make a layout page with the paper of these prints, but now I get to make a squishy with the fabric! :) :) Thanks so much!!!!

Glad you liked the fabric! When I seen that you were a scrapbooker, I couldn't resist the Basic Grey fabric. I used to be a scrapbooker, but I couldn't afford both addictions!!

I posted on the other thread by mistake but my SS was Mousie....thank you mousie, I just love everything and will use it all....I already have some cards in the holder and it hanging on the quilt rack in my kitchen....love the colors...Merry Christmas to you and everyone...this was so much fun and loved seeing all the different things that people came up with...so much talent :)

I know you go to guild meetings, so thought the holder could be used to haul stuff to that, or you can put a project or threads or anything in it.
I am a nut for organizational tools. So, somebody did get a mouse in the box. I see my pic peeking out of the stocking on the card, lol :wink:

What wonderful gifts everyone has received! Mine was no exception! Collettakay spoiled me rotten (rottener?!). Just look at all the fun goodies! The handmade items are awesome! A pretty table topper and a matching chef's apron. There was more candy but somehow it didn't make it into the photo! Thanks again Collettakay!

Whoa!!! After looking at all the fabulous goodies in the last eleven pages, I feel just like Leota's cat. I need to lay in the floor and rest.

Everyone received such wonderful gifts. You can see the time, effort and love that went into each and everyone. I feel so blessed to have met such kind caring people.

Thank you Tinks mom for my package. I love the choc and the little yo yos were awesome, fatquarters, candy, magnets,card, needles all so great. I will have to post pics when i find my camera. Merry Christmas to everyone and special thanks to Shadow and Terri for all the hard work. Oh and Tinks mom I never used special needles before but they really do make a difference when doing hand stitching, oh and the coin pouch you made is awesome. Thanks Teresa

I ended up working while the chat was on so I opened my present late and I was so bowled over by the generosity by barbm!
I got the most wonderful things! I got several bottles of mini lotions in luscious flavors! The fabric was perfect! Just what I was looking for. The One Block Wonder book, a beautiful pair of earrings, a family memories book for me to fill :thumbup: , some yummy chocolate (which i'm enjoying while I type :) ), some beautiful Christmas coasters, a statue of a snowman and girl with a quilt, a plaque with a cute poem about friends and quilts plus a bag of local potato chips!
