2011 Christmas Projects I completed.

10 Attachment(s)
I was very busy during Christmas completing 2 queen size quilts (started by a manager 12 years ago), several table toppers, mug rug set, pillow cases, pot holders, cosmetic bags and an apron. I am not as talented as many of the members on the board, but I love to make things for others. Enjoy and Happy New Year.

You are not allowed to ever say that again. With these pictures as proof of your abilities, and creativity you are equal to most of us. They are great in color, style and are well made.

QuiltnNan 01-04-2012 11:37 AM

We actually collect old Singer machines. However the one that I really love is my 1852 Grover and Baker Treadle. The cabinet is made of Walnut.

These pictures were taken while it was still in storage. I will be glad to get it cleaned up and working again. I also love my 1903 Singer Model 27 that is my avatar.

DO NOT say you are not talented ! You are, those table toppers are to die for. 3 lashes with a wet noodle as Ann Landers used to say. You did a great job on everything you made and they are lovely. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I have always lacked self confidence. Wanabee Quilting, you are a confidence booster.

The pattern is called the "Folded Star" I have the directions and I believe I got them off of the internet. It was a free pattern so I don't think there is a copyright on it. Google Folded Star and if you cannot find it, I will be glad to scan my copy and send it to you. Just found the site I copied it from. http://bronzewombat.blogspot.com/200...patchwork.html Hope it works for you

Bueniebabe 01-05-2012 10:07 AM

Aunt Janey 01-06-2012 09:29 PM

Thanks for sharing your work and the link for the folded star. I would like to know how you made the octagon borders for the dresden plate toppers. Is this a pattern or something you designed?
