27 1/2 mens demin jeans / queen quilt

here a few picture while making this quilt and a few facts.
queen size 27 1/2 pairs of mans denim pants 324 round blocks ( all cut by hand , I must of cut for 3 or 4 days ) 324 color cotton blocks 72 outside boarder pieces ( all cut by hand ) 26 minutes to sew one strip of flower peddles down when I joined my strips together 12 1/2 hours of actual sewing time. ( my sewing machine keep track of actual time when it sews ) weight is 11 lbs. im estimating about 10,000 yrs of thread hammer to hammer down thick seams |

LOVE IT! I have two large boxes of denim just waiting for me to do something with. It is on my bucket list. Maybe next year. The grandkids want to build a tree house and I plan on making some kind of utility quilt for them to use in the "cabin". I have the instructions for the quilt but don't remember if it said anything about the outer edges. How did you do them?

That is such a pretty quilt done in denim. I cannot imagine how much work in it. You did a great job.

Looks great! If you get the urge to make another, I suggest you try the Olfa Circle Cutter. Last time I used mine, I cut 40 in less than 10 minutes. It's great!
