This was actually my very first piecing but it took awhile before I sandwiched it, machined quilted and did binding. this is the 2nd in my series of "sacrificial quilts" as I learn the process and master my new machine. Thank you

Love the quilt and colors. Great job. I really like the 1/4 inch quilting line that you used. I have thought about it, but haven't tried it yet. Your quilt makes me want to try it soon.

I agree... I think it really adds to the quilt. My "wanna try it" list is soooooo long.

3" wide....I like working in whole numbers... I also didn't realize 2.5 was the standard....I'm staying with 3 inch

I think your quilt is so pretty, and I especially like the fancy stitches you used as part of the quilting.

CoventryUK 05-04-2011 11:56 PM

Lovely quilt! Great fabric choice! Well done!

QM 05-05-2011 12:22 AM

Good color/fabric choices, neatly done. 2.5 is no more standard than 3.0, in my observation. Your quilt, your choice.

So pretty and you did great on the machine quilting. I still can not machine quilt and that is so frustrating and here you are only on your second quilt and looks like you have mastered it. Can't wait to see more from you.
