I can't believe how perfect your stripes match up in the first block! Beautiful job. Are these from Carol Doak's 50 Fabulous PP Star book? These are similar to some of the blocks in my avatar and that's the book I used.

Yes, they are from Carol Doak's book! Although they are paper-pieced, I did a little bit of "fussy cutting" for these stripes. By holding the fabric and the paper against the light and then pinning it in the right position, I got them to match pretty well.

Beautiful Stars... I haven't ventured into PP as of yet. You did awesome work points are really good.
