and the last one. gee, uploading pic's have changed a little. maybe this ole dog is just getting tooo old. the little 4 yr old granddaughter helped with this periwinkle, she dabbed a spot of glue and attached the periwinkle to the paper patterb,

All three are lovely. I especially like the colors in the middle photo, so cheerful and happy.
Thanks for posting. Wouldn't have thought of using white for the background of the Falling Charms quilt with bright squares used.
Three very different and lovely quilts...the first reminds me of a 30's quilt and love the falling charms and periwinkle too. Your photos brightened my morning. :)

All are pretty! I like your use of white for the backgrounds. :)
Very pretty quilts!
:thumbup:All great quilts! Well done!
Yippie, indeed! :) I love the first one--I'm scouting ideas for my 30s fabric, and that's a good one. Beautiful quilts.
Beautiful works!!!
all are very nice
Beautiful i like the first one!!
Beautiful quilts! I have never seen falling charms before. Really like that look!
truthfully the white is the VERY best muslin. I use it for my backing. 200 count, 100% cotton. unbleached, but I bleached it white, and used up my scraps from making other quilts. my quilter fusses about it, because it is so densely woven. but it works up, beautiful, once it is nice and white.
Lovely quilts!!!
Nicely done! We love those little helpers!
ty ladies. I had been doing harder quilts the last couple years, and decided to check out easier ones, and do them for a while. thus MSQ and a couple of jennie's quilts. just saw her new tutorial today, and like it. can't remember the name. something about ......... square.
Great! I especially like your periwinkle quilt.....very striking!
Nice ones! They give me some ideas for my charm packs.
These are beautiful. I know the falling charms and periwinkle but what is the other one? These are do pretty. Thank you for the tip about the muslin. I might try that.
Very nicely done
They are all so pretty! I will take them ALL :)
all 3 nicely done.
Oh my gosh! They are beautiful!!
They are very pretty. I love the first one!
Love all three, but particularly the second one! Nice work!
All are wonderful...really like your use of white/lissa
You've been busy! Nice job on the quilts.
They are all beautiful. My favorite one is the first one. What is it called?
Three great looking quilts. I like them all but the second one is my favorite.
They are all so pretty. Hard to pick a favorite, but if pressed I would say the first one. I'm not usually a pastel person, but sometimes a pastel quilt really speaks to me.
the first , done in 1930's repro fabric is a kit I had gotten in 2005 from my LQS. it is called 'country cross roads'. 3.3 in squares. the middle blocks are 2" pieces sewn together. And I truly did randomly grab strips, as long as I wasn't placing two of the same colors beside each other in any given 9 patch. the white was not in the kit.--- From My scraps. I like the pattern. so I will probably make another one like it. in different material. scraps would work so well with this.
They are all so very pretty...i like #2 as well...kind of looks like confetti sprinkled across the white.
#2 goes in the mail tomorrow to a SIL who is having surgery. thus, the lite airy feel. she's been my SIL for 49 years. and a favorite one.
You've sure been busy.
Three wonderful quilts!
They are all beautiful! What pattern is used for the second one? And where can I find it?
Thanks! |
Beautiful quilts! Love each one!
Great job on all of them. The first one is my absolute favorite. You sure make beautiful quilts!
