Love all of them! My favorite would be the one from the skirt! I wish I had a eye for using things the way you did!
That skirt was fun to work with. You can't really see in the picture, but the fabric is kind of an ombre with the tone getting lighter toward the waistband (top). The placket for the buttons was done beautifully, and the buttons were covered in the fabric that matched the color done and cactus print at their location. Someone really planned ahead on making the skirt. Anyway, the challenge for me was to cut the piece so that the buttons had about the same space at the top of the pillow and the bottom and also make sure I didn't get half a buttonhole hit the binding. The fabric itself was a nice quality garment fabric. Unfortunately I didn't have a use for the original waistband. Ha!
Concerning the car pillow, I had to piece the back, and that is where the pillow opening is. I had to add two coordinating fabrics, making kind of a mandarin look by chance. Actually the back could easily be used as the front.

I like your pillows. I like the story to go around each of them. It is nice when someone sees value in someone else's castoffs.
