Santa left a Lil' Sew & Sew Machine at my parents' house this year. They live a ways away, so they delivered it to her today. It is so cute to see her with her little 2 pound machine. :)
After our company left, she wanted to sew. I grabbed a few squares that were already cut, she picked the ones she wanted, and off we went. She controlled the foot petal and helped me guide the fabric through. She loved stuffing the pillow too!
This week, we're going to work on another project during Sit N' Sew at our LQS together. I can't wait!

That is so cute and she is gorgeous!

That is the color of my hair but I did not have any redheads. One girl, four boys, in that order and I gave up on getting another girl.

I love my children but boys are not as easy to sew clothes for.

I did teach my grand daughter to hand quilt. Because Kate was four, she did four stitches each time we met. Then we had tea and cookies. The whole thing took about an hour. The project was a 'Care Bear' letter.
