this one is for my niece's upcoming in May High School graduation.
a bit too much quilting that gets lost in this quilt but it was a good FMQ lesson and proof that I can do it. still lots to learn about FMQ. I pin it using long pins and cut up erasers, it works for me thanks for looking |

There is always more to learn about freemotion quilting. I love the heart with the e's border. I will have to put that on my list to try.

all three of your recent projects are lovely. I wish I had a little more time to bond with my machine. I have a WIP that I'm hoping to get done before my son's college graduation in May (sigh).

Oh, wow! It is beautiful!!! I love scrappy. It is soooo colorful. Great quilting.... I have 5 GDs to make for. I just pray the Good Lord blesses me to see to it.... The hearts are sooo cute....

Your free motion quilting is just great. I should be so good. Nice batch of quilts you have made.

Wow. It's still January and you've done three quilts! You're a fast -- and talented -- one!
|
This turned out lovely! Your FMQ is wonderful. I love the hearts and vines. Interesting to see the pin and eraser technique. I've read about it but never tried it. It seems like it would cut down on the pinning time and be lighter, too. Thanks for sharing your lovely work!
|
Very lovely quilt and you really do know how to quilt. You did a great job matching your quilting to the actual quilt blocks. I am sure your niece will just love it.
|
