The first pictures are of the 6 1/2 inch blocks. I need a total of 70. These will surround the center block with is the four blocks already grouped together and have the first borders around them.

I loved the 4 block section as soon as I saw it. And then you posted the strip of blocks and I ooh'ed and aah'ed at those.
Now you show these totally awesome blocks! I love all of them. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the fuscia and green block. I'm just drawn to the colors. And oh, I love the metallic fabrics. This is going to one hecka (my son's term) nice quilt! Can't wait for you to finish. Quick, stop playing around here and get back to sewing!

Thanks everybody. I loved this fabric when I found it at the store. I bought lots of it and then held onto it for a while not sure what I wanted to use it for - well I knew a quilt just not what the pattern would be. I will keep you posted at I get more of those blocks done. I want to find 70 different 6 1/2 inch blocks I think I have most of them now just to sew them up.
