4 Patch Posie with cornerstones
3 Attachment(s)
Well, I tried the pink cornerstones and got 3 rows done before deciding that it didn't work. Of course my camera battery died at that point.
Totally re-did the rows and ended up with the yellow (the DH said I told you so). Hopefully here is the finished top and next the original fabric, 1 yd x 45". Thank you again for all your interest. |
So pretty!!!!

Love the yellow! A beautiful 4 patch posie! Makes want to find the "right" fabric.... today!

I did vote for the pink (or scrappy) cornerstones, but I think it looks super with the yellow. I still think the green sashing was a great choice.

It would make a wonderful winter wall hanging with all the bright flowers to look at.
Thank you again for all your expert opinions. It was my first time with this design and was very lucky to get that fabric. Will likely do it again but not this week! Thinking I'll try to SID myself but will try the spray basting first.
Love it! You definitely made the right choice!

One of the prettiest 4PP I have ever seen. Love the yellow cornerstones.

Yellow has become one of my "neutral". I find it goes with so many things without competing. Your quilt is lovely. The fabric was a wonderful choice. How large is your finished quilt?
your quilt is gorgeous great job
Love it, it turned out beautiful!!!!!
Wendiq, it actually is a largish (?) lap quilt at 64 x 79. I've dug out my quilting frame and will hand quilt it. Will be a while before it's ready to show again but I will.
I had voted for the pink too but I have to admit, I really like the end result with the yellow. Thank goodness you tried it out & changed your corner stones. It looks lovely.
