Yeah!!! I have been hand piecing this WILD thing for several months now off and on. I just finished the top!! I am so glad its done. Its really bright and colorful but I like it!
Are those four piece stack and whack blocks? I thought they were usually 6-8pieces. Anyway, I love the brightness and all the pretty designs!
Very pretty colors. My goodness, hand pricing too. I like the solid square at he end of the row.
A great pattern. Nice job!
way to cute
Very pretty. I am in the process of making one but would never think of hand piecing it. You are good. I have enough trouble lining the four layers together.

Very pretty! I can't believe you hand pieced it! I have the pattern and fabric I bought a few years ago but haven't had the 'heart' yet to start in on it!

it took me forever to find a photo of any of mine. I did one but it's still a top. and i have fabric for another one-of course. you lay four layers of fabric and pin matching areas (like leaves, flowers, what ever) all the way through the layers. Then cut in strips and then squares. turn each stack of four squares to get the look you want and sew into a four patch. Can use any print but the more length of fabric between prints the more variety you will get.

This is on my bucket list
just type Four Patch Posie in the search bar here and you'll find lots of info.
So ambitious and beautiful!
Isn't it fun to see all the different designs that appear ? Love it.
Two and a half inch squares? No wonder you did it by hand. That is amazing, beautiful too.
As Always Leesa, fantastic and beautiful job...Love it!!
Super. Love the border. BrendaK
It's delightful! Wow, hand pieced! I love it.
you can make wider strips/squares. all depends on your "repeat" print. if it's 12 inches, divide that equally. If you are lucky to find a fabric with 24 inch repeats, divide that and see what works. then that size is what your squares will be cut to of course. this is an easy quick quilt and fun to play with.
Great job!
Wow the fabric and colors work really well together.
Looks great!
What a cheerful looking quilt. I really like it.
Wow--just wow!
Beautiful quilt and colors. I love seeing what every one is sewing/quilting. I can't imagine hand sewing a whole quilt. I did a table runner once, but I know I'll never live long enough to hand sew a quilt. Bravo
I really like it, and all the colors make it very nice.
I can see why you like it. It is a beaut!!
Oooo this is so cool!!
Now, that is a happy quilt. Love it!
Very pretty! Love the posies. Nice sashing choice.
Hand quilted, hmm? I don't have the patience or time. |
Congratulations on finishing that beautiful quilt, love it.
