I'd say she has a pretty good sense of color, as those were great fabric choices. She looks so proud and she should be. I once had the profound pleasure of helping a 6 year old make a doll quilt, it was so much fun and she was so proud. I can't wait to see if our DGD who just turned 3, might be interested in quilting - she does like the quilts I make her. I really hope she likes the twin size quilt I finished piecing just before my shoulder surgery in May -now I'm waiting for my shoulder to heal enough so that I can quilt it before Christmas. Wish me luck. I'm so glad you had that wonderful experience to share, you both look very intense about what you were doing. Love it.

Great first quilt! She is precious and it is wonderful that she is starting quilting so young!

Another quilter in the making. Well done to both of you.

Both the quilt and your DGD are so very cute. Keep her interested and she'll go far!

What a cutie!! It is so nice of you to take the time to teach her. I bet she would love to make her own pillowcase with maybe a fairy fabric or frogs or cats. They are real easy to do and fast to complete.
