4th of July shower curtain
2 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone. I've always been a spectator....so today I decided to post something for a change. Before I cut out tons of fabric I always make a block or two to see if I'm going to want to do the block. Well, I managed to make 12 blocks...not quite enough for a bed quilt and I have a ton of lap quilts. So it became a shower curtain. I was originally planning it for last 4th of July. Ha...I have so many WIP and so little time. Hope you like it.
P.S. My mom was here in December and saw it....so she went home and made me a queen size quilt to go with it. She doesn't have near the WIP that I do...I'm so jealous. The first pic is the shower curtain and the second is the bed quilt mom made. |
They are both beautiful ~ You and your Mom both did great!

Nice quilt

I never thought to use spare blocks for the outside part of a shower curtain - how clever and easy to wash :) Mom did a good job also
Love your blocks |

Have a Blessed day Ellen |
How did you quilt the shower curtain. I'm thinking of doing one and tying it. I have about 8 blocks done so I don't need many more. I may make a bed quilt to match but I have a king.
Don't know if I'm up to it. I'm been so lazy lately. |
Love, Love, Love both of them! Great job on both!
Blessings, MaryAnna |

Great Idea to turn it into a shower curtain! It looks great! It's so sweet of your mother to make the bed quilt she did a great job too.

Very creative use of fabric for a shower curtain -- it really makes your bathroom now, doesn't it? I love that your mom made the quilt for you....bet you feel very warm and cozy under it, knowing it came from mom, huh? Terrific combination.

They look wonderful! Nice job! :)
