I made these this weekend. I know they are different from traditional baby quilt prints but I really like them.
I will show the whole quilt and a close up of each so please be patient with me while I get them loaded. Thank you for looking. Edited to say: This pattern is called a super sized 9 patch and measures 35in X 40in. Another rugrats but the stripes run a different direction |
your quilts are always darling!

Super job
|
Very nice - wish I could accomplish that much. Am still struggling as a beginner with piecing for machine quilting. I got the hang of hand quilting and think that is my thing - at least so far.
|
Thank you! Now to get started on some girl baby quilts. :-)
|
Colorful and happy childrens quilts!
|
Oh, they are so cute. Who says a baby quilt has to be "traditional"? Babies like bright colors and these will carry over beyond babyhood! I have that pattern but never made it. I keep forgetting about it. Glad you reminded me!

super cute. great quick and easy tops!! great job.
|
Just think of the warmth and love they'll bring. Such great fabric!

Very cute, and I'm sure they were quick to make! I remember a similar pattern that uses 3 1-yd cuts and you end up with three quilts. Hummm--just another one of those things that I still need to quilt!!

Our quilting club works with a pregnancy center to help young mothers-to-be (and some fathers-to-be!) to make a baby quilt. This was the pattern we used. We had all the pieces cut and each "mom" or "dad" picked a kit and were then helped by a club member to make the quilt. We all had a lot of fun and each mom or dad left with a quilt!
Carrie, those are fun fabrics! |
