Very beautiful quilt and the black against the bright colors makes it so stunning. Gorgeous is the only way to describe your quilt. I made a similar pattern from a book by Eleanor Burns called "Tennessee Waltz". It was a fun pattern to do. Your BIL is very lucky to get this gift.
