This is my first attempt at the 60 degree tablerunner. It was made from a kit and the colors are great

Very pretty. I've seen these kits in magazine an catalogs and always been afraid to try it. Was it easy? Are the instructions clear? This one looks great!!!

The kit I got did not have the directions so I had to buy it and you need the 60 degree ruler. The LQS where I got the kit had a demo to show how to cut it and it was easy after that.

I love that pattern. I do it often because I love those wide stripes in fabrics and this is the way to use them It is hard to believe that it only six pieces and you are finished. Yours looks great. You did such a good job matching the seams.

I can't take the credit for the colors as it was from a kit. And you can make it with the sunflowers in the border and the white pinecones in the center. It jus depends on how you cut it

I had to adjust the seam to sew the two sides together. I would have liked a wider stripe in the middle. I've done another one that's not quite finished yet and the same thing happened on that one too.

You need to have a 60 degree ruler that is at least 10" from top to bottom. You really need directions as to how to cut the triangles. The one I have is from The Quilt Company and it's the easy striped table runner

debbieumphress 08-31-2012 12:01 PM

Love it. I hope I can save it to my pictures. Hugs
