I'm doing that pattern right now. . 160 hsq's. . i.e. 20 blocks. I admire you. I'm thinking it's more challenging than I thought it was going to be. I made the first 8 hsq's thinking, "That was a breeze." But then matching up all the points from square to square was something else again. My thought now is, "I probably will stick to mostly rectangles from now on." Or not. I do love the look. Yours is beautiful.

I love your quilt! I would skip the border and just use a dark binding.

I did use thangles. I think it really helped with all the points. The name of the pattern on the
thangles package is " Orion star quilt".

I'm wondering if there are a couple of the blocks needing a turn - one on the left side (5 blocks up from the bottom) and one on the right side (9 blocks up from the bottom)? May be fine but if not should be easy to fix.
