#7 2013 Mission to Use Scraps
4 Attachment(s)
Here are a few more: 1st is a full size top, still needs quilting.
Then two baby quilts, the blue I just did simple wavy line quilting, the other is hand quilted SITD, they just need binding. Next is a preview of a WIP for #8 - all the blocks are made, just have to finish putting them together. |
They are all so pretty, I especially love the sail boat one! Good job using up your scraps. :)

Excellent scrappies! Is you scrap bin empty yet?
Love them all!
I really like the quilt at the top - do you know the name of the pattern?
great going with the scrap busting.
Love them all! Very pretty.
Enjoy seeing your great projects! Way to go--like the first one--muslin (white?) visually helps hold the quilt together as does the lights in the last. Thanks for sharing.
I just didn't think I was a scrappy lady, but you have made me question that - they are all pretty. I guess I need to open up my mind.
those are all so terrific!!!

Gorgeous quilts. I would say you have better scraps than I do, but since I recognize many of them I think you just have a better eye for putting them together. Thanks for sharing.
wow love the scrappy quilts
Very nice scrappy quilts! I'm always looking for patterns to use up more fabric. Nice job.
I really love them all. You have been so busy.
You must have a great scrap bag because the quilts are all beautiful!

For those asking about the first and last patterns: first is pineapple blossom by Bonnie Hunter but do not put the final triangle. I did this as I wanted more of a star pattern, although my family can not seem to see the stars until I point them out. The last is Honey, Honey which right now is a free pattern at Moda Bakeshop. Thanks all for looking.

Gorgeous quilts.
I love all of your quilts, but the first is my fav. I am working on using up squares that a friend gave me, and love when others post their scrappy quilts. Now I have another to try.
Wowsa you're a scrap bustin' pro! I need to put you to work with my scraps! ;)
Thanks for sharing your lovely quilts. You inspired me to try the wavy line quilting.
I really like the 9-patch/ square with a flower applique quilt. The dark border framing the flowers, makes me want to reach out and pick a flower right off the quilt. |
They are all so so pretty. I enjoyed seeing each one.
All of these are so pretty!
Just curious... "#7 2013 Mission..." Is this in a list of goals for the year? I just love to check things off!
Now that is great use of scraps!
I love every one of them. But the first and the last are my favorites. Probably because I love scrappies.
Fantastic job on using scraps, they are all so pretty.
