yea and it took me 7 years to make it and then I was HOOKED for ever and ever Thanks every one for your support and all your tips I have been reading them since april 1 and have learned a lot.

I love your quilt. I started one of these back in the 70's, I have it pinned on the muslin, but that is all, now I have to make it bigger when I finish it because we have a king size bed. I still have some of the different colored cotton that I cut the dresses from.

I hope mine will look half as good as yours when and if I ever finish it.

Missed this when you posted it. Love it. I love this block.
I was lucky enough to get a bunch of these blocks in a box of fabric at a garage sale. I made my youngest granddaughter a baby quilt and her sister a twin size one. My sister used one block for a welcome sign for an aunt and I still have one somewhere.

Both my Gran and my Mum liked this pattern, it reminds me of them both, beautiful job, well done!
