Was it hand pieced? It's beautiful.
Landers1 I don't have a clue. She didn't tell me what it is. Does anyone know?
Susanb, no My husband and I quilted it on longarm with design board. I know it should have been handquilted, but I'm 83 and DH is 85. It was all we could do. I have another one older than this that my Mothers sister made and she was killed in a 1925 tornado, so I know it is a little older. I am going to handquilt it! PS Susan I'm sorry, YES it was handpieced.

What a treasure from the past!!!
Lovely keepsake quilt...
This quilt was so thin and some of it was muslin, very thin. I had to mend several places to keep it together. But I love it.

That is beautiful, it reminds me of a pattern of Eleanor Burns ice cream cone block, but this is so unusual..I love it.
Such a pretty quilt. What a difference in todays fabrics and those.
What a beautiful quilt. I love the colors and the block design. I am wondering what the block name might be. Anyone have an idea. It looks complicated. I will have to see if those are diamonds or triangles.

How lucky you are to own an antique quilt (well, almost antique, it isn't quite 100 years old) Nice job!
