what a cute quilt
usually we think of bears as the old stand by teddy bears
but those little pandas are so cute

bearisgray 06-04-2010 10:20 AM

The color change from brown at the bottom to the yellow green at top sure makes it more interesting.

You did a wonderful job. I am glad you used the bamboo border, it sets it off well, and all of those pandas are going to need a snack.

Leota 06-04-2010 03:54 PM

I love the pandas-- great job!

And I love the pattern. I've done 9patch Pizzazz in African animals and in bright rainbow horses. It's always fun and looks cool when finished. I just pulled fabrics to make another one.

littlehud 06-04-2010 07:50 PM

wvdek 06-04-2010 08:02 PM

My DD has this fabric and will be thrilled to see what you have done with it. Pandas are her fav critter outside of her dog and cats.

Great job and cute.

Who is the author or publisher? You have me givenme a great incentitive to try something new!

StitchinJoy 06-05-2010 04:02 PM

It's a great book. I've made several 9patch pizzazz quilts, and they go together fast and look good.

If you have a novelty print or large print fabric that you love but just can't bear to cut up, i suggest this pattern. You leave several 12" squares or 6 x 12" rectangles and they really showcase the print.
