What beautiful quilts. I have always admired the large print pieces, but not sure how to use them, and this is a definate inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Due to a late change in border fabric, I had quite a bit left so I made a second smaller one. Both are machine quilted. The viney leaf pattern is fmq, as are the cranes quilted into the body of the other. I'm just learning fmq but it was a lot of fun. Plenty of mistakes, but not obvious riding by on a galloping horse!
