Very nice quilts. I love the cranes and the colors. Judy Sisneros has some great patterns. Great job!

RDM 03-28-2011 08:37 AM

That turned out totally gorgeous. I admire your fabrics and placement. I tried one and struggled with chosen fabrics vs. placement. Yours is truly inspiring, makes me want to give it a try again.

shopaholic97 03-28-2011 08:58 AM

The viney leaf pattern is fmq, as are the cranes quilted into the body of the other. I'm just learning fmq but it was a lot of fun. Plenty of mistakes, but not obvious riding by on a galloping horse! Thanks for looking.

Both quilts are wonderful. As to mistakes, they just prove the quilt was hand made. Not out of a factory.

Congratulations! These are without doubt the best examples of this pattern I've ever seen. Gorgeous focus fabric and absolutely perfect coordinating fabrics. And to be so clever as to make TWO of them is incredible!

Great job!
