Wonderful!!!
|
How sad that the poor woman's family does not value her quilts. They may not be perfect but they were made with love I am sure. They are beautiful to look at and it's so generous of you to care for them. Thank you for sharing.

Pretty quilt tops.

These are great. I know you will do a good job quilting them.

What's cool about the tops is the huge variety of fabrics...sort of like a retrospective of clothing fabrics from those decades. And I remember those decades really well! The strippy with the blue border I will quilt first and give back to Johnny. No one else in his family wants them...which is a shame. The brown Dresden Plate is blocks of cheater fabric which I might use as a backing...it feels like cotton. So....what ideas do you have for how to quilt these??? |
How wonderful that you've got your hands on these quilts! They are awesome!

I think they are all very nice!

What wonderful gift!

What a treasure you have been given. I'm sure you will enjoy finishing them.

Thanks for looking! Give me ideas! |
