Terri, have a feeling your not real big on mushy-mush on the outside, lol...cause your being way too modest, but on the inside of you beats a heart of gold.
I can tell that you have touched Izy deeply, and at a time when she really needs it. Aw shucks, Terri, gotta go, my keyboards getting all wet...

MollieSue 02-24-2009 06:40 PM

Izy - Beautiful fabrics! I bet you're not going to sleep tonight, just dreaming of all you will make! :D :D
And Terri, you are a very beautiful person!
I feel blessed to have 'met' both of you.

I have to say that would be Terri knowing and living across the street for two years and having coffee on the front porch almost everyday, going to aussie land and sharing a bed with her she has a heart of gold but not the halo (LOL) I would not trade her for anything. She is a real jem of a friend to have. Friends like that are rare, far and few between.

If you really want to meet a saint ask her about Mr. Bill (her husband) . They make a great pair. Love ya Terri

Ok, ya'll are going to make me cry!!
And I do have a halo...it's somewhere in my sewing room! I put it down and misplaced it.
Oh gee.....him a saint? Well, maybe the patience of a saint because he's married to me...I can get quite onery at times! lol
And yes, Machel and I slept together, and she didn't snore either! :)
Love you to Ma-chel!

Izy 02-25-2009 12:02 AM

Do you see how much you have touched 'everybody' here Terri, not just little me???? :D :D :D

No one could be more deserving for this accolade than you Terri, so I hope you have a warm mushy feeling inside you for a long while, cos I know I will :D :D :D

Three cheers for Terri!!

Izy...you know that if you made ugly things, I wouldn't send you anything. lol Only joking. I know how hard it is to be someplace and not be able to get things. The most it costs me packages to you and Elle is the shipping. Honest!
I just enjoy helping people and hope that if I were ever in that predicament, someone would help me out too!
There are MANY angels on this board. Most of them know who they are. They have surprised me with squishys in the mail that have made me smile for days and days....and they still do when I think about it.

So, now go and have another cuppa and a biccy and then go make something pretty! That's an order, young lady!! :) :) :)

Izy 02-25-2009 02:56 AM

Right boss!! Am on with it    :D

tlrnhi 02-25-2009 03:21 AM

Karen, nice to hear from you, sorry your having problems with your balance, that's so horrible to live with, I hope you feel better and cranking the machine up soon xx

PrettyKitty 02-25-2009 02:05 PM

Wow Izy, you are lucky, what an amazing gift!

We will just have to see what the Easter Bunny sends to Terri this year, won't we????

Karenmay 02-25-2009 02:10 PM

Hi Izy...happily the balance problems are sorted out now...I had an appointment on Friday with a clinical scientist...half an hour with him and he'd sorted it out for me, and showed me what to do if it happens again! So I'm a very happy bunny! I can even look up to the top shelf in the supermarket without falling over! lol!
Now to dust off my machine! :D

Karen xx

littlehud 02-25-2009 03:02 PM

I'm in love with that dog. What a sweetie.

sharon b 02-25-2009 03:09 PM

Izzy , you are so deserving and Terri you are an angel  I have been blessed just by knowing you... It does my heart good to know that there still are wonderful people out in the world
Sharon

tlrnhi 02-25-2009 03:51 PM

Oh Karen...that is NOT good, but glad they got it sorted out for you.

Izy...if you decide to send me anything, just send Sasha! She is just a cutie! And spoiled? OMG! She would be rotten if she were here! Between her and the cats, I'd be playing servant ALL day! lol

And like I said before....ya'll are just making me tear up and blush.

sandpat 02-25-2009 04:14 PM

OOOhhhhh...Izy..you sure did get some pretties! Terri...as we say around here..."that was mighty nice of ya'" It is refreshing to see nice things happen...so thanks to you both!..

Now...Izy...I think you said that there were 3 biscuits...1 for you...1 for DH and 1 + a bite of yours, and + a bite of DH's for Sasha! Didn't it work out like that???

Machel 02-25-2009 08:14 PM

Izy, Just be careful if you send Sasha. Kitt may just back her into a corner and she won't be the same. Besides all dogs seem to be Terri's. Has she ever used the context (my dog Sasha?) if not watch out. Terri's cats are too cute and funny to watch.

Keep your eyes and ears open. Sasha is adorable

LOL
Well, you never know, I just might try to sneak Sasha in my suitcase when I visit! Sasha is a cutie, huh?
I don't think Kit would have a problem with Sasha. She's a little bigger than he is. Hannah was just about Kit's size, but skinny. Hannah was just afraid Kit was going to have her for snack! lol
Machel, you are just mad because you KNOW Hannah is MY dog! She loves me the most! Plus, she must be mine since there were dog treats in the house. :) She only lived with you because I felt sorry for you and said it was ok for her to live there. When you left Hawaii, you stole her from me!

But, there is also a miniature horse that I need to go rescue. Poor Rosie. Has to live with Karla until I get back to the states. Then I can come and steal her..umm....I mean go and rescue her...um....I mean go and visit her. Yea, that's it...visit! lol

Izy 02-26-2009 01:45 AM

Oh my.....no need to worry on any score...cos Sasha is a mummy's gal, and follows me everywhere, she even visits me on the loo for a cuddle lol!!

She is a big wuss and is scared of cats lol...but I know Terri stocks up well with food so she would be tempted on that score..so I best be careful, she just might be tempted into a suitcase with a nice tasty snack for the journey

Now I know Rosie is termed 'mini' but you would need a great big trunk to squeeze her in with a bale of hay to keep her quiet when you 'rescue' her too Terri

Patti: Sasha gets to try everything I eat, she is my Quality Control Manager :!:

tlrnhi 02-26-2009 02:38 AM

Izy, I wouldn't take Sasha from you. And Machel knows that I wouldn't take Hannah. Ok, maybe I would. She did live at my house for a week. :)
As for Rosie the mini....I'd just take the seats out of my van, I'm sure she'll fit, but I'm also sure Karla would have me hog-tied before I even got close enough for this. lol

barnbum 02-26-2009 04:19 AM

Well--a surprising turn of topic here.

Terri--- you are a most generous angel, however, I do not believe being hog-tied would be your most flattering pose.

sandpat 02-26-2009 05:02 AM

Karla...you are sooo right...now a hog-tied Terri is just a mental image I really didn't want! :?

LOL Karla....But, if I tried to steal Rosie, you'd MAKE it my most flattering pose!

Susan in Texas 02-27-2009 09:48 AM

Oh WOW. What a true friend you have. :D

tslowery 02-27-2009 10:07 AM

Beautiful fabrics . I am new to quilting. I grew up with a grandmother that did anything with a needle, so I was aroung it my whole life. I do a lot of cross stitch and I have a embriodery machine and a sewing room full of fabric I just have to get up the nerve to try a quilt . I have made a baby quilt but forgot to take pic of it so I guess it was my first. I will be so glad to have all of you and your knowledge to get me going. ( I need someone to give me a good kick in the rear to get started) lol

Feathers 02-27-2009 10:19 AM

Izy: The "angel box" of fabric is so nice and it's so generous of
Terri to share . The gift is doubly special because my guess is that
fabric is a bit hard to come by in Guam and from the posts it seems like fabric is scarce in Spain and the UK. What a gift and I know you will use these gifts to make something beautiful and useful for someone else. A definate "Pay it ahead" situation. My heart is touched.

Butterflyspain 02-27-2009 10:26 AM

Just caught up with this thread what a truly lovely lady Terri is.

Simply gorgeous fabrics, you are going to do such wonderful things with those Izy, I know you and I can see some lovely quilts there.

tslowery, don't know if you have been lurking/reading, but you should be forewarned....well, it's a bit late for that now...don't say you need a kick in the rear around here  , cause this group likes to have fun  , and you may get more volunteers to use your hiny  for a football than you were bargaining for, LOL!!!

dojo36 02-27-2009 06:10 PM
