Terri (in Guam :D ) has sent me over the most beautiful fabrics to build up my depleted stash, cotton threads, magazines and some delicious biscuits...her timing couldn't have been better as I have had the week from hell, and this has cheered me up no end, I have been straightening and ironing and sorting and petting all afternoon :D

Oh and there were three of those biscuits, John and I shared one with our afternoon cup of tea....don't think they will be in the cupboard for much longer :lol: :lol: :lol:

Those are absolutely beautiful!! I especially love the green with purple flowers. I just might try and find some since I can read the name on the selvedge. :D

I have to agree with you Pam, it is stunning fabric, I used the special setting on my camera for flowers as it gives you a true impression of the colours.....beautiful aren't they, the three together are from the same range :D :D :D

Cheryl...that is such a sweet thing to say...have no doubts I will be putting all these fabrics to good use. There is such little fabrics here in Spain, it really makes you appreciate gifts like this so much more :D

That's the fabric I used in a quilt I made last year but just spray-basted it together last night. I love it, it's so pretty ( the one with the Purple roses in it)

Izy, Terri - 2 special ladies from what I have seen since I have been on this board.

Well I believe there are many special people on this board...and long may we all continue to share our love of quilting and life in general...you have all been so supportive to me these last few weeks which has helped me enormously, especially the last few days, so I thank my lucky stars the day I joined here :D :D :D

Even if it isn't quilted yet? I havn't decided how I want to quilt it, though I think it is calling for an all-over rose deisgn, of course I think that is above my skills...... I will try and post a picture when I get home, though it may be Wed eve before I can, Tuesdays are pretty busy for me. I am at work at the moment.

I love to see progress pictures, and I am sure you can find a simple flower continual quilting design.... :roll: (says she lol!!) Can't wait to see it :D :D :D

Pam, I'm not sure that is still out. I bought that fabric, probably 3 years ago. I had yards and yards of it. Used it to make a couple quilts. Have looked for more because it also came in red and blue, but haven't found it. Good luck finding!!

It's really nothing. Just stuff I had laying around, taking up space that I figured I'd share. I know that both Izy and Elle have very limited resources for fabric, so sending and sharing with them is not a huge deal.
Ok, some of the fabric I did buy and tucked in there, but it was fabric I bought for a quilt I was making. I just bought extra and shared.
But, that sure was alot I stuffed in there, huh? I didn't realize ALL that I put in there!!

I'm just glad that it will be well used. I can't wait to see what is created with it all. I know it will be awesome!

I am posting a picture of the quilt that I mentioned. Because it is queen size and I only had DH here to hold it up, we did not unroll the whole thing. But you can see the fabrics in it!!!
