Oh Anita, I know it rips your heart out not to fulfill her request. I no you would love to be closer so you could spend more time. but, Unfortunately, those miles are a fact of life, these days. You did a great job & that it will give her much comfort while you are parted by all those miles. You're a great granny to make it for her.
BTW: your granddaughter is so cute & adorable. Next time you do see her give her an extra squeeze from me.

She is adorable and obviously loves her quilt. Doesn't it break your heart when she asks you to come visit and you just can't pop over? I have a almost 4 year old in Oregon and it fractures my heart when he asks me to come to his house.
